We have a great experience with all big providers, but our choice is DigitalOcean because we know they provide a stable and secure infrastructure for us. So we encourage everyone to use it if they have the knowledge to start and maintain a VPS with all the dependencies from the OS software to other packages and finally install and maintain Odoo Community or Enterprise version. It was a long sentence and it does not describe all the tasks that you have to do by yourself especially since we did not mention security aspects. And this is just a list. If you are a professional, you know that doing all kinds of tasks is very time-consuming. If you don't have this knowledge, then you have to hire a software-enginer who is able to do it for you. And it's never a one-time fee because you need your Odoo up and running 24/7.
